The UHRI Research Journal is thoroughly committed to promoting high-quality, multidisciplinary research while upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. We firmly believe that maintaining rigorous ethical standards is a shared responsibility among authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure a credible and successful research publication.
Authors must ensure that their submitted work is entirely original. Utilizing the work, data, or words of others without appropriate citation constitutes plagiarism, which is strictly prohibited.
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously for review or publication. Doing so is considered a serious breach of publication ethics.
The data presented in the manuscript must be authentic and accurate. Any form of data manipulation, fabrication of figures/statistics, or presentation of fraudulent conclusions is strictly forbidden.
Authorship should be limited strictly to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research study. All significant contributors must be named as co-authors.
Authors must explicitly disclose any financial, personal, or institutional conflicts of interest that could potentially bias or influence the findings and outcomes of their research.
This journal adheres to a fair, transparent, and rigorous Peer-Reviewed Refereed system. To ensure a streamlined evaluation process, reviewers must comply with the following guidelines:
Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document. It must not be shared with, or disclosed to, any third party without prior authorization from the editor.
Reviews must be conducted objectively and based solely on scientific and academic merit. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers must remain unaffected by the author’s race, gender, religion, or nationality.
If a selected reviewer feels unqualified to review the manuscript or is unable to complete the review within the stipulated deadline, they must immediately notify the editor to prevent delays in the publication cycle.
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any observation or argument previously reported must be accompanied by the relevant citation. If a reviewer notices substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript and any other published paper, they must bring it to the editor's attention.
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board hold ultimate responsibility for deciding which manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published. These decisions are driven exclusively by the paper's merit, importance, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
The editor and editorial staff must not disclose any information regarding a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and potential reviewers, as appropriate.
In the event of an ethical complaint regarding a submitted or published manuscript (such as plagiarism or unethical conduct), the Editorial Board is responsible for conducting a fair and thorough investigation. The board will take necessary actions, which may include publishing a correction, clarification, or a formal retraction.
In line with the journal's core policies, it prioritizes the widespread dissemination of research through transparent and accessible publishing practices.
If significant errors or inaccuracies are discovered post-publication, the journal is committed to issuing an erratum/correction notice or executing a formal retraction of the article to maintain the integrity of the academic record.
